UNDERSTANDING THE VALUE S OF TIME

He looked at the book it looked too old for his library. It was a Bible that had been in his family library for over 40 decades. It had been passed from one generation to another. He instructed his boys to throw it in the garbage bin and set the whole trash on fire. Following his instructions, the boy obediently poured gasoline on the heap of trash, and in no time at all the whole trash was set ablaze. Two hours later, his friend walked in heading straight to his library. As he entered the room, he said, " I saw an old Bible in your library the last time I was here, where have you kept it? There is a book exhibition at the city centre and a copy like it sold for $2 million " well the man answered, mine wouldn't have brought a dollar, somebody named Gutenberg had printed it and it was owned by a man named Martin Luther, who scribbled all over it in German" oh my God" shouted the friend. You mean that Bible was printed by Gutenberg, the inventor of the first printing machine,  and was owned by Martin Luther, the father of all Protestants and one of the  greatest Christian leaders that ever liveth, with his personal note written beside the verses? That Bible must have been one of the first books printed in the whole world."
Just like the man burnt $ 2 or more millions away, many of us burns our precious time away on useless or trivial activities that add no values to our lives.  Instead of spending time with ourselves, many of us are busy doing thousands of irrelevant things.
Every year is a golden opportunity, each year contains 12 golden opportunities known as the 12 months and every month contains 30 golden opportunities which are called days. There are 24 hours in a day and each one of these hours can be turned to gold. There are 60 minutes in one hour and each minute is a golden opportunities which should be spent wisely.
Time is all we need to be successful and the good news is time is also all we have. Once you are alive, you have the time now. Your future depends on how you and I spend the first 25 years of our life, which is usually spent in school.
A tout is not a tout because God destined him to be so. He became a tout simply because of the way he chose to spend or live his life and spend on his educational years. Our life history is being written every single minute. The way we spend each our of the day either adds to your success or multiplies our future.
Treat time as the priceless commodity that it is.
